Are you a motivated Desktop Support Analyst looking to take ownership of a global desktop infrastructure? Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 24/5 desktop support to a global 500+ user base, resolving complex issues and service requests
• Troubleshoot Windows, Office, Active Directory, remote access, and VMware VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) issues
• Manage service requests, incidents, and alerts using internal processes
• Own the global desktop infrastructure, including workstation moves, software migrations, application deployment, and creating policies
• Drive office expansion efforts with a focus on automation to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with teams to develop strategic solutions and contribute to key infrastructure projects
• Participate in on-call duties on rotation, covering 1 in 13 weekends (Friday 7pm to Sunday 8pm, NY time), with no mid-week on-call duties
Key Requirements:
• 3-6 years of experience in desktop support and engineering roles
• Expertise in Windows 10 (Windows 11 a bonus), Office Suite, Office 365, and Azure (including OneDrive, DLP, and SharePoint)
• Experience with VMware VDI environments (70% of endpoints connect via VMware)
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, remote access solutions, and software deployment
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, especially in DNA and endpoint solutions
• Proficient in PowerShell, Python, and Linux for automation
• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
