A premier global investment management firm is in search of an accomplished DevOps Engineer to join its Commodities Technology team. This vital role entails working alongside an accomplished team of quantitative analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop a pioneering commodities analytics platform. You will have the unique opportunity to use your DevOps expertise to shape the future of commodities analytics, making a significant impact within a globally renowned firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and design, build, test and deploy robust microservices and data pipelines
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, data loads, and monitoring
  • Support migration to Kubernetes and adoption of CI/CD best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems and data flows
  • Prototype and integrate new technologies to enhance analytics capabilities

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy
  • Expert in deploying applications on AWS services and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like ELK stack, Splunk, Grafana, and Loki
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • (Desired) Experience in quantitative finance, trading, or investment management
  • (Desired) Prior involvement delivering analytical and data-intensive platforms
