Our client is a leading global proprietary trading firm that specialises in a wide range of financial instruments and asset classes. With a strong emphasis on technology and innovation, they have built a reputation for excellence in the industry. The firm is currently seeking a skilled Jira and Confluence Atlassian Administrator to join their dynamic team responsible for third-party application administration and management, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflows across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Atlassian application infrastructure, including Jira and Confluence instances on Linux
  • Support and optimise existing Jira workflows and business processes, collaborating with teams to implement improvements
  • Provide expert guidance to internal customers, advising on options and training teams on products and workflows
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and deliver sustainable solutions to problems
  • Ensure adherence to business processes and maintain auditable records for knowledge sharing
  • Expand expertise into other enterprise applications, such as Tableau, Workday, and Salesforce

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience administering Atlassian products, with expertise in Jira and Confluence in an enterprise Linux environment
  • Proficiency in managing sensitive data in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and drive projects to completion
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
  • Experience creating and maintaining custom workflows, dashboards, and reports in Jira
  • Knowledge of Groovy scripts and plugins, with the ability to write and maintain Jira customisations
  • Skilled in evaluating, testing, and configuring add-ons
  • Familiarity with Jira Service Desk, JQL, and managing cloud-based applications and integrations
  • (Preferred) Linux administration and scripting skills
  • (Preferred) Financial institution experience
