This role is broad and highly impactful, requiring someone with a start-up mindset who can work autonomously, optimise cloud architecture, and develop best-in-class automation solutions...

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen security controls across infrastructure, ensuring reliability and operational resilience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, spanning cloud, networking, and container orchestration
  • Enhance observability and monitoring, proactively identifying bottlenecks and performance gaps
  • Collaborate with trading, quant, and engineering teams to ensure infrastructure supports business objectives

What You Bring...

  • Deep expertise in AWS, including cloud networking, security, and automation
  • Strong proficiency in Python for automation and infrastructure tooling
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, VPNs, TCP/IP) – no dedicated network team
  • Passion for automation-first approaches, with hands-on experience using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with minimal hand-holding
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a start-up mindset, ready to build, scale, and optimise trading systems
