Key Responsibilities

• Rebuild core infrastructure with consistency - consolidating cloud accounts, cluster management, and automation across the stack
• Deliver greenfield infrastructure to support research compute needs - aligned with long-term trading platform architecture
• Own cloud cost optimisation - bringing rigour to spending decisions and aligning tooling with business needs
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform and Ansible, with CI/CD best practices embedded from the ground up
• Drive observability improvements - ensuring robust monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics across systems
• Work closely with global engineering teams - bridging the time zone gap and ensuring operational continuity
• Troubleshoot low-level performance and orchestration issues across containers, networks, and distributed environments

What You Bring...

• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles within high-performance or trading environments
• Deep practical expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure - especially IAM, VPCs, and scalable architectures
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes)
• Fluent in Python for scripting and systems tooling
• Familiarity with low-latency cloud networking and distributed research compute environments
• Highly self-directed, fast-paced, and capable of making strategic infrastructure decisions without micromanagement
• (Preferred) Experience managing cloud costs and implementing cost-aware infrastructure strategy
