Are you an experienced Trade Flow Support Engineer with a deep understanding of global trading systems? Our client, a leading global investment management firm specialising in systematic and quantitative strategies, is seeking a skilled professional to ensure the seamless operation and readiness of their global trading platform. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with trading, operations, and technology teams, ensuring efficient transaction flows in a dynamic trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee global trading platform readiness, managing both pre-trading and post-trading activities
• Monitor and support end-to-end transaction flow across the trading platform
• Engage with trading desks, back-office operations, brokers, exchanges, and development teams
• Support application deployments, network implementations, and server maintenance
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and drive improvements through automation and collaboration

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in trade flow support within a trading environment
• Proficient in Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in Bash and a scripting language such as Python or Perl
• Strong knowledge of FIX protocol, with familiarity in native exchange protocols
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)
• (Preferred) Familiarity with Kdb+
• (Preferred) Knowledge of TCP/IP, multicast, and clocking protocols (PTP, NTP)
• (Preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with brokers, exchanges, and internal teams
• (Preferred) Experience with the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), Elastic Stack, and Nagios
• (Preferred) Knowledge of ITIL
