Our client, a leading trading firm, is looking for a hands-on engineer to drive automation, security, and efficiency across their infrastructure!
Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of ongoing Windows-related projects, driving them forward and ensuring timely completion
• Manage and optimise the Windows estate, focusing on both on-prem (focus) and cloud infrastructure
• Implement a hybrid (cloud/on-prem) Active Directory to improve identity management and security controls
• Deploy new automation tooling to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with the Security team to implement a robust Identity Management solution and upgrade the Data Loss Prevention system
• Apply advanced security hardening to the Windows infrastructure to mitigate risks
Key Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience working with Windows Server environments, focusing on both on-prem (primary area of focus) and Azure infrastructure
• Expertise in automation tools and practices (tooling agnostic but experience in deploying automated solutions is required)
• Hands-on experience working on security-focused projects, including identity management and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and automation processes
• Ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across teams to deliver efficient solutions
• A keen interest in security hardening and working closely with Security teams to ensure system resilience
• (Preferred) Previous experience working in financial services, though candidates from various industries are encouraged to apply
