Are you a seasoned TradeOps Engineer seeking a hands-on technical leadership role within one of the most innovative algorithmic trading firms globally? Our client, known for its high-performance trading systems, is looking for a Senior TradeOps Engineer to join their team in Dublin. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge trading platforms, lead technical projects, and optimise trading operations within a dynamic and collaborative environment!


Key Responsibilities

• Optimise and manage live trading systems, ensuring uninterrupted market access and smooth trading performance

• Collaborate with vendors (exchanges, brokers) and internal teams to resolve trading issues and drive operational improvements

• Support the execution of trading strategies, contributing to the smooth launch of new strategies and market access

• Automate manual processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks across the trading environment

• Lead key technical initiatives, focusing on performance optimisation, regulatory compliance, and strategy evaluation

• Provide mentorship and technical leadership, guiding less experienced team members and fostering a collaborative working environment


Key Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a technical engineering role, preferably within a trading, SRE, or DevOps environment

• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python, with familiarity in C++ considered an advantage

• Extensive experience working with UNIX/Linux systems, including system/processor performance tuning and network troubleshooting

• Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems in real-time environments

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate across different teams

• (Preferred) Experience working with market data and order entry systems within a trading environment
