Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain servers and network devices across global data centre locations
- Manage hardware installations, racking, cabling, and troubleshooting for optimal performance and uptime
- Oversee day-to-day data centre operations, ensuring all systems are running efficiently
- Coordinate with external vendors for on-site maintenance, repairs, and equipment procurement
- Handle provisioning and decommissioning of hardware, including asset tracking and inventory management
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and connectivity issues to minimise downtime
- Travel to regional data centre sites as needed to provide hands-on support
Key Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience in data centre operations, including hardware installation, cabling, and equipment management
- Hands-on experience working with Linux and Unix-based systems
- Familiarity with network operating systems and infrastructure automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve hardware and connectivity issues quickly
- Experience building and maintaining PC/server hardware
- Ability to physically handle hardware, including racking and lifting heavy equipment
- (Preferred) Experience with low-latency, high-frequency trading infrastructure
