Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a small team of security engineers, with a focus on driving IAM, EDR, cloud, and infrastructure security initiatives
  • Design, build, and deploy advanced security solutions, including web services and applications, using Python
  • Expand and enhance IAM capabilities into datacenter and infrastructure environments, including Kerberos and LDAP directory services
  • Manage and secure user authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and device identity systems
  • Develop automation processes to optimise security operations and workflows
  • Collaborate with internal customers to communicate security needs and integrate security into Linux-based systems
  • Define and execute a comprehensive security strategy aligned with organisational objectives
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration across business areas


Key Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years leading small teams
  • Expertise in IAM, endpoint detection, and cloud/infrastructure security, with knowledge of protocols like Kerberos and LDAP directory services
  • Advanced Python programming skills, with experience in building web services and automating security processes
  • Strong understanding of Linux environments, including sysadmin or Linux security experience
  • Proven ability to manage technical projects and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for problem-solving and remaining hands-on in a technical capacity
  • Experience with remote team/project management
