Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain a highly available and scalable secrets management platform ensuring seamless operation across a hybrid infrastructure
- Own the migration of critical workloads from legacy secrets management solutions to HashiCorp Vault
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes with a focus on security and efficiency
- Oversee system performance, proactively identifying and resolving reliability issues to minimise operational risk
- Implement and enforce best practices for secrets and key management across the organisation
- Collaborate with development, security and infrastructure teams to align DevOps and security strategies
- Drive the adoption of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform and other automation tools
- Monitor systems using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk, ensuring early detection of issues
- Serve as a technical leader, mentoring engineers and driving best practices in reliability and security
What You Bring...
- 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps or infrastructure engineering, ideally within a high-availability, regulated environment
- Expertise in managing secrets management solutions, preferably HashiCorp Vault
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automation tools
- Deep understanding of security best practices, particularly in identity and access management
- Strong programming skills in Python or Bash for automation and tooling development
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging and security platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk and BQL
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement scalable solutions
- Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments
- (Preferred) Hands-on experience with cloud security principles and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
- (Preferred) Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries
