Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine integration solutions to support real-time trading across multiple venues and liquidity providers
- Build and maintain robust API connectivity to external exchanges, ensuring low-latency execution and data consistency
- Optimise system performance, working closely with traders and quantitative teams to enhance execution speed and reliability
- Manage deployment pipelines, automate workflows, and support periodic software releases
- Implement and maintain database solutions for efficient trade processing, using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Leverage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or Google Cloud) to scale trading operations securely and efficiently
- Work with Linux environments, applying containerisation tools such as Docker and modern DevOps practices
- Provide technical support to trading, business development, and operations teams, troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues as needed
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, system integration, or financial technology development
- Proficiency in Java (required), with additional experience in Rust or Python being beneficial
- Strong understanding of API integration, market data feeds, and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud) and scalable deployment solutions
- Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with Linux environments, containerisation (Docker), and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with trading and engineering teams
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in cryptocurrency markets and digital asset trading
