Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise a low-latency, cloud-based trading infrastructure, ensuring seamless performance across AWS environments
- Automate infrastructure deployment and operational processes using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve real-time production issues affecting trading systems, leveraging cloud-native observability tools
- Enhance system scalability, security, and reliability through advanced AWS solutions, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and VPC networking
- Support CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable software deployments
- Collaborate closely with traders, software engineers, and researchers to improve system efficiency and execution speed
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to manage cloud-based workloads efficiently
- Participate in an on-call rotation, providing critical support for AWS and hybrid cloud production systems
What You Bring...
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering, ideally in trading or financial markets
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS) and cloud networking
- Strong background in Linux systems administration, with expertise in performance tuning and debugging
- Experience automating infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Exposure to real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, multicast) in performance-critical environments
- (Preferred) Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
