Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and fine-tune Rocky Linux infrastructure supporting trading and research teams
• Administer high-performance compute clusters and cloud-based systems, ensuring stability and efficiency
• Develop automation solutions using Bash, Python, or Ansible to streamline system management
• Proactively monitor system health, diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Enforce security policies and access controls, strengthening system hardening measures
• Optimise network configurations, troubleshooting low-latency and high-throughput environments
• Support traders and developers, ensuring infrastructure aligns with operational requirements
• Manage user authentication, permissions, and system-level access

What You Bring...

• 4-7 years of experience administering Linux-based infrastructure (Rocky Linux preferred)
• Proven ability to automate system tasks and manage configurations using Bash, Python, or Ansible
• Strong background in on-prem compute clusters and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Deep understanding of networking protocols, security hardening, and system tuning
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools for proactive issue resolution
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work autonomously in a fast-paced setting
• (Preferred) Knowledge of HTCondor or similar distributed computing frameworks
• (Preferred) Experience working in low-latency, high-frequency trading environments
