Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise production tooling to automate deployments, infrastructure management, and system monitoring
- Manage AWS-based infrastructure, streamlining deployments and configuration management
- Enhance system reliability by implementing fault tolerance, redundancy, and high-availability solutions
- Collaborate with traders and developers, ensuring seamless operations for real-time trading systems
- Support and optimise C++ and Rust-based trading environments, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime
- Improve observability, integrating logging, alerting, and monitoring tools for proactive issue detection
- Fine-tune networking configurations, optimising for low-latency and high-throughput requirements
What You Bring...
- 3+ years of experience in site reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation, with the ability to read and understand C/C++
- Deep expertise in Linux administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing AWS cloud environments and on-premise compute clusters
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and system performance optimisation
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools to ensure system uptime and stability
- (Preferred) Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools for infrastructure automation
- (Preferred) Experience in low-latency or high-frequency trading environments
