Are you a Citrix specialist with a passion for designing high-performing virtual environments at scale? A global trading firm is looking for a Citrix Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, automation, and ongoing support of their Citrix platform. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments, both on-premise and cloud-hosted
• Lead and support Citrix migration projects, ensuring minimal user disruption across global offices
• Optimise virtual desktop performance through tuning of HDX protocols, load balancing, and WEM (Workspace Environment Management) policies
• Automate platform deployment, monitoring, and configuration using PowerShell and Citrix SDK/API modules
• Maintain and support Citrix Cloud and hybrid deployments, including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, and Studio
• Integrate Unified Comms solutions (e.g., Zoom, WebEx, Teams) into the virtual environment for optimal performance
• Perform incident analysis and root cause investigation across CVAD, networking, and Windows layers
• Collaborate with engineers, infrastructure teams, and end-users to identify issues and deploy performance-focused solutions
• Ensure best-in-class security and user access practices across the platform
• Participate in ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and scaling of Citrix infrastructure

What You Bring...

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering and supporting enterprise-grade Citrix platforms
• Advanced knowledge of CVAD components including StoreFront, Studio, Director, Delivery Controllers, and WEM
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, particularly using Citrix SDK and APIs
• Experience managing Citrix Cloud environments and hybrid deployments
• Strong familiarity with Netscaler/ADC for gateway and remote access services
• Working knowledge of FSLogix for profile containerisation
• Troubleshooting experience with Windows OS in Citrix-hosted environments
• Exposure to network routing and traffic tuning as it relates to Citrix performance
• Clear, confident communicator with excellent collaboration skills across technical and business teams
• (Preferred) Familiarity with Unified Communications optimisation and virtual audio/video enhancements
