Role Overview

As part of continued global expansion, they’re hiring an Experienced Security Engineer to strengthen and evolve the protection of their trading platforms, infrastructure, and blockchain operations. Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain security frameworks across Linux-based infrastructure supporting high-frequency and digital asset trading
- Strengthen authentication, access management, and segmentation controls across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments
- Implement automated monitoring and threat detection pipelines tailored to both traditional and blockchain security domains
- Conduct structured vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and security reviews across systems, networks, and smart contract interfaces
- Secure critical integrations between crypto custody mechanisms, APIs, and low-latency trading environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles into CI/CD pipelines, containers, and infrastructure-as-code
- Perform incident response and forensic investigations, developing automation to improve time-to-resolution
- Apply scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Ansible) to streamline repetitive tasks and integrate controls directly into workflows
- Support operational compliance across exchanges, APIs, and wallet infrastructure while maintaining agility in a fast-moving market
What You’ll Bring...
- 4-12 years’ experience in security engineering or systems administration, ideally within Linux-centric, trading-focused environments
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security, including firewall configuration, intrusion prevention, and VPN design
- Proven track record working with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred) - implementing IAM, key management, and network hardening
- Expertise in system hardening and access control, with familiarity in container and automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, or SaltStack
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar for automating audits, configuration, or monitoring
- Exposure to crypto-native security, including custody systems (HSMs, MPC wallets), key management, and exchange integration
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable operating in high-pressure, real-time trading environments
- A collaborative communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams while maintaining a high technical bar
- (Preferred) Understanding of smart contract and blockchain ecosystems, including major networks like Ethereum and Solana, and awareness of exploit classes and audit tooling
- (Preferred) Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001) and their relevance to trading infrastructure
