We're seeking a diligent Application Support/DevOps Engineer for our client, a fast-paced technology-centric firm. Here's a chance to showcase your skills in application support, contribute to a global team, and take part in an innovative journey while dealing with state-of-the-art technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer support for a variety of third-party applications
• Monitor and improve software issues, striving for a stable work environment
• Engage with internal users and external vendors for prompt service restoration and issue resolution
• Collaborate with diverse teams to develop custom platforms and environments
• Onboard new applications and enhance existing ones as part of project management
• Drive process innovation for optimised efficiency
• Implement scalable and automated application systems and controls

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years in a support/DevOps role, ideally within the financial industry
• Proficient in application support, with strong problem-solving and incident management skills
• Hands-on experience with JupyterHub/Jupyter Notebook
• Comfortable in a Linux or Windows administration environment
• Practical knowledge of AWS ECS & EKS, Kubernetes, Docker
• Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Corvil, and Splunk
• (Desired) Experience with CI/CD frameworks like Terraform, Ansible
• (Desired) Familiarity with Agile release management (using tools like GitHub, Jenkins)
• (Desired) Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
