Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create tools to uphold our cloud security policy standards
• Work with the platform team to design, build, and evaluate cloud platforms
• Support the SDLC process alongside services teams, ensuring seamless cloud platform integration
• Provide cloud SME knowledge to the Detection and Incident Response team during security investigations
• Aid InfoSec teams in transitioning their technology stack into cloud environments
• Evaluate cloud-based SaaS services and new applications against our security policy and platform standards
• Hands-on coding will constitute 50-60% of your time, focusing on Python and GCP, with expertise in AWS valued

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. Preferred certification: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP - ISC2)
• 4+ years of industry experience
• Expert coding skills in Python or Terraform
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Familiarity with Docker, Open Containers Initiative, or similar
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Solid understanding of network-oriented applications including security, and development best-practices
• Background in one of the following Information Security domains: IAM, Incident Response, Infrastructure Security, or Cryptography
