We are seeking a diligent European Exchange Technology Specialist on behalf of our client, a leading global trading firm. This role offers the chance to become the subject matter expert on regional exchange technology and act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as project lead for major exchange upgrades, migrations, and mandated changes
• Maintain repository of exchange nuances and connectivity dependencies
• Partner with business management on new trading desk onboarding
• Analyse exchange specifications and relay key details to stakeholders
• Manage exchange technology relationships and coordinate deep dives
• Create exchange implementation checklists to guide new desk rollouts
• Ensure trading systems satisfy compliance processes

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years working with regional exchange technology teams
• Knowledge of market data and order entry protocols
• Understanding of exchange connectivity and colocation
• Familiarity with instruments and asset classes traded
• Technical grasp of exchange order processing and market data distribution
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
