Job Description

We are looking for a world-class Head of Core Engineering to spearhead infrastructure at a leading investment firm reimagining the future of investing. You will lead a global team deploying state-of-the-art proprietary trading systems and data platforms, guiding a best-in-class group empowering traders through innovative proprietary platforms, and providing strategic direction to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technology strategy supporting trading, investments and analytics
• Manage and mentor a team executing on the technology vision
• Lead architecture and engineering for next-gen infrastructure and platforms
• Ensure security and reliability of mission-critical infrastructure
• Collaborate across the firm to deliver tailored solutions
• Guide adoption of emerging technologies and industry trends

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, ideally in financial services
• Leadership experience managing global IT professionals
• Track record delivering large-scale high performance software systems
• Knowledge of trading systems, risk management and financial markets
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or similar cloud platforms
• Unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity
