Job Description
This opportunity is with a leading firm which powers exchanges across the globe, offering trading services across a diverse range of products, including options, futures, equities, ETPs, and FX.
You will act as the primary point-of-contact for support and all end-sure hardware software, including:
- Windows workstations, virtual, physical and Thin Clients
- Microsoft Teams, Headsets/Webcams, Basic Desk Phone Configuration
- Video Conferencing Equipment
- VMWare Virtual Desktops, Thin Clients, and Horizon View
- MS Office products and All Major Browsers
- Remote Access
- Mobile phones
- Printers/Copiers
Role Responsibilities:
- Hardware and Software Procurement and Asset Management
- New User Setup
- Virtual Desktop Administration
- Software Deployment
- Patching of Microsoft and other products
- Break/Fix Support
- AD Management and Token Administration
- Equipment setup and cabling for desk moves and changes
- Identify common issues/inefficiencies and work towards stream-lining our processes
- Provide local and remote support for end-users in London and Amsterdam
- Train end-users on technology and communicate changes which will impact them
Technical Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Previous experience of Windows 10 end user support
- Solid background in AD administration including group policies and security
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Video conferencing, Cisco Room Kit or similar and Audio/Visual support experience is a plus
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office365 and Teams products – Certification a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft End Point Manager, Windows Servers, Domain Controllers, DNS, DFS, DHCP
- Develop a cooperative relationship with end-users of all technical abilities
- A drive to create an atmosphere of competence, trust, and respect with all end-users
- An “automate everything” attitude and desire for effective and efficient processes
- Highly methodical and analytical approach to problem solving and evaluating technologies.

- Dedication to quality and attention to detail
- Experience with LDAP is a plus
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus
