Join our esteemed client, a leader in the technology industry, as a Platform Kubernetes Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping their cloud-native infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for architecting and engineering a multi-tenant Kubernetes solution for their internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Kubernetes platform strategy and adoption across the organisation
• Re-architect the Kubernetes estate focusing on automation and scalability
• Develop operators and tooling for deployment and cluster management
• Evaluate and engineer long-term infrastructure solutions
• Work extensively with GKE as part of GCP adoption
• Balance 75% hands-on engineering with 25% platform support
• Participate in AI/ML projects to enhance diagnostics and support

Key Requirements:

• Expertise in large-scale Kubernetes platform management
• Proficiency with public cloud platforms, especially AWS and GCP
• Strong Python and Go programming skills
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, and SDLC methodologies
• REST API development and integration skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively on a small team
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Autonomous self-starter who can lead projects
