Make your mark as a Linux Systems Engineer in the elite Linux Team of a prominent trading firm. Here, your expertise won't just keep their highly-customised trading servers humming—it will shape the way they operate. From deploying and maintaining to monitoring and operating UNIX servers, your work will help keep their systems at the pinnacle of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the lifecycle of a server and deploy new solutions
• Monitor performance and manage system capacity
• Address and analyse technical incidents, solve ad hoc technical problems
• Spearhead our move towards intelligent automation
• Bridge the gap between hardware and software
• Research new technologies and solutions, implementing them or building better alternatives

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years experience designing, deploying, and supporting large-scale Linux/Unix server environments
• Experience in a high-performance computer environment
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Ansible
• Knowledge of virtualisation and networking
• Proactive problem-solving approach and high attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and handle priorities in collaboration with other teams
