We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a proficient Network Engineer to join their low latency trading infrastructure team. In this role, you will architect, deploy, and support robust global networks crucial for real-time trading systems. This position offers the opportunity to implement innovative networks alongside industry leaders, elevating the infrastructure to unparalleled levels.

In this role, you will:

• Engineer innovative low latency network technologies
• Research and implement new methodologies like RF, transport, routing
• Manage network projects end-to-end including design and deployment
• Install, test, and troubleshoot critical low latency data networks
• Configure and support network hardware and software
• Document infrastructure policies and procedures
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation

Key Requirements:

• Expertise in multicast, L2/L3, WAN design for low latency
• Experience with network packet capture and timestamping
• Knowledge of lit/dark fiber and multiplexing
• 5+ years in network engineering, operations, and support
• Proficiency with Arista, Cisco, L1 switches
• Excellent Linux, Python, Bash skills
• Proven ability to deliver high quality support
