We're seeking a Senior Network Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance the infrastructure of a top-tier algorithmic trading firm. Your role is crucial in maintaining and optimising systems vital for global financial markets. You'll gain exposure to diverse, advanced technologies and collaborate with expert technicians to address complex challenges in a dynamic trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expand and fortify infrastructure supporting ultra low latency trading
• Develop solutions leveraging languages like Python and Go
• Constantly seek to simplify and automate complex systems
• Take sound technical and commercial decisions on procurement
• Broaden your skills across hardware, OS, apps, cloud, storage etc.
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Key Requirements:

• Strong network architecture and Ethernet/TCP/IP expertise
• Proficiency coding in Python, Go or similar languages
• Experience with network management/monitoring via code
• Linux administration and automation skills
• Track record of taking on complicated projects with autonomy
• Openness to learning new skills outside comfort zone
• (Desired) Firewall configuration and debugging
• (Desired) Server hardware experience, and bash scripting ability
