Job Description

This London-based financial firm are looking for a Senior Security Analyst to fill a new strategic role, focused on supporting the development of a multiyear cyber strategy. This includes business case management and scenario planning. Also responsible for board level reporting and integration management activities. This role will have the cyber leadership team as key stakeholders as well as horizontal engagement with other cyber and technology functions.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Assists leadership in developing and preparing the annual Cyber Strategy packs
  • Proactively supports management to prepare and develop material for meetings, including coordination of meeting invitations, diary management, email distribution list updates and follow up actions
  • Gathers information and performs analysis as input to the development of the cyber strategy
  • Prepare and maintain the annual cybersecurity investment budgets and forecasting
  • Provide management with insights and research on Cyber Security trends and threat landscape
  • Engage in cyber integration management activities for company Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Develops and maintains relationships built on trust with peers both internal as well as industry
  • Collaborates with cyber and technology peers throughout the company to ensure cybersecurity principles are embedded in their respective functional or divisional strategies
  • Actively supports in developing and maintaining quarterly board packs and relevant KRI reporting
  • Manages multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment

Technical Experience and Qualifications:

  • Understanding and knowledge of control frameworks based on industry best practices such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO27001.
  • Cybersecurity qualification e.g. CISSP / CISM (desirable)
  • Degree or Masters qualification in Cyber, Information Security or IT management (desirable)
  • IT and cybersecurity policies and standards
  • Operational risk frameworks
  • Management and Operational Reporting
  • MS SharePoint and Teams
  • PowerPoint Presentations and Visualisation
  • Understanding of the latest cybers security trends and events in financial services
  • Business and sector expertise
  • Financial Services
  • Leadership and management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in cyber risks, controls and strategy development within Technology environments
