We're helping one of our top-tier clients, a tech-driven investment firm, locate someone to join their security team as a security engineer.

Role Responsibilities:

The security engineer will work on the development and execution of the firm’s information security program, with a primary focus on incident detection & response (IDR). This role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging working environment.

Technical Experience and Qualifications Required:

You’ll own the resolution of security incidents and lead detection and response improvement efforts:

• Leading forensic investigation
• Improving threat-hunting and monitoring efforts
• Reviewing, assessing, and triaging incoming alerts based on expected impact and risk to the firm
• Acting as a go-to person for other teams involved in triaging security-related incidents
• Developing processes and runbooks used in day-to-day incident response and remediation
• Improving current toolchain configuration
• As well as building new security tools to elevate the firm’s capability to detect and respond to threats.
