Join a prestigious financial services firm, renowned for its dynamic and innovative approach. We are inviting a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to enhance their Infrastructure Engineering team. In this role, you'll be part of a hands-on, technical team focusing on core technology infrastructure, contributing to a forward-thinking environment where innovation and professional growth are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and integrate infrastructure systems, with a focus on Windows-based systems
• Maintain operating systems, authentication systems, databases, and virtualisation infrastructure
• Oversee core network services and messaging and endpoints on Windows and Linux platforms
• Ensure seamless system integration in both internal and external environments
• Collaborate across departments for technology integration and smooth operation
• Continuously improve infrastructure and adapt to evolving technology needs

Key Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Significant Windows software development and systems automation experience, preferably with C# or PowerShell. Python and Rust knowledge is beneficial
• In-depth understanding of Windows platform and technologies like Active Directory and Failover Clustering
• Familiarity with Windows Server applications and management tools (e.g., Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, ADFS)
• Knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts. Experience with cloud environments and container technologies is preferred
• Outstanding communication skills and effective interaction with various firm departments
