Are you a skilled Desktop Support Analyst looking to take ownership of a global desktop infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-performance environment? Join a leading investment management firm where you'll provide enterprise-level support, drive key infrastructure projects, and enhance automation across a globally distributed user base. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, play a vital role in Windows migrations and office expansions, and collaborate with global teams to optimise desktop environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 24/5 desktop support to a global user base of 500+, resolving complex technical issues and managing service requests
- Troubleshoot Windows, Office, Active Directory, remote access solutions, and VMware VDI
- Oversee workstation moves, software migrations, application deployment, and policy creation
- Drive office expansion projects with a focus on automation and process efficiency
- Collaborate with internal teams on strategic infrastructure initiatives
- Maintain service requests, incident tracking, and system alerts using internal processes
- Participate in an on-call rotation, covering 1 in 13 weekends (Friday 7pm – Sunday 8pm NY time), with no mid-week on-call duties
What You Bring...
- 3-6 years of experience in desktop support and engineering roles
- Expertise in Windows 10 (Windows 11 is a bonus), Office Suite, Office 365, and Azure (OneDrive, DLP, SharePoint)
- Strong knowledge of VMware VDI environments (majority of endpoints connect via VMware)
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, remote access, and software deployment
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and Linux for automation and scripting
- Strong troubleshooting abilities in DNA and endpoint solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to prioritise tasks and thrive in a fast-moving environment
- (Preferred) Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
