Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance data center environments, including racking, structured cabling, and physical equipment installs
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues across network and server infrastructure in partnership with internal teams
- Coordinate logistics around shipping, inventory, and deployment across multiple regions
- Oversee and review vendor activity and smart hands support to ensure work meets quality and security standards
- Monitor systems for physical and environmental issues, escalating and resolving where necessary
- Support cross-functional initiatives with Network, Server, Facilities, and Trading teams on expansion and upgrade projects
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organisation, and documentation within all data center locations
What You Bring...
- Solid background in physical data center environments, including cabling and hardware handling
- Familiarity with networking concepts and basic L2/L3 troubleshooting (switching, routing, firmware upgrades)
- Confident using Linux systems and shell environments; scripting skills (Bash, Python) a bonus
- Comfortable working with vendor equipment from Cisco, Dell, Arista, and others
- Experience terminating and testing fibre and copper cables
- Physically fit for on-site work (lifting, ladder use) and open to occasional travel and out-of-hours support
- Fluent in English; additional Asian languages (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese) beneficial
- Able to manage tasks independently and communicate clearly across technical teams
