Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage and improve production AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, identity, storage and managed services
- Develop Terraform modules, patterns and workflows that make infrastructure changes consistent, reviewable and repeatable
- Operate EKS environments across cluster upgrades, capacity planning, networking, storage, reliability and production troubleshooting
- Improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows to support safer and more frequent engineering releases
- Strengthen platform security across IAM, secrets, access controls, network boundaries and baseline compliance practices
- Work closely with software and infrastructure teams to support deployments, resolve issues and improve developer experience
- Create clear documentation, runbooks and platform standards for wider engineering use
- Support production systems through an on-call rotation and mentor less experienced engineers
What You’ll Bring…
- 6+ years’ experience across cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE or production infrastructure roles
- Deep recent experience building and operating AWS environments in production
- Strong Terraform experience, including reusable modules, remote state, peer review and infrastructure change control
- Production Kubernetes experience, ideally with EKS, covering operations, upgrades, networking, storage and incident response
- Strong scripting or automation ability using Python, Bash, Go or similar
- Solid understanding of Linux, cloud networking and infrastructure security fundamentals
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows and Kubernetes delivery using Helm, Argo CD, GitOps or similar
- Clear communication skills with the ability to document decisions and collaborate across technical teams
- (Preferred) AWS, CKA or CKAD certification
- (Preferred) Observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry or similar
- (Preferred) Exposure to service mesh, policy-as-code, multi-account AWS governance or backup/DR for stateful workloads
